It pulls 23 amps, thats defiantely not ------- 14 gauge so bend the ---- over and take it like a man 14 is good for 15 amps , which work would for the specs that were listed, but if you had a ------- brain you would see we all ready came to the idea those were the WRONG specs! It's a 230 volt , 30 amp machine. And it is most likley a 4 wired feed , you just dont see the 4 wire because the ground go right to frame ! Any extension cord at all would at least need to be 10 gauge wire. 12 gauge is rated only for 20 amps . Go get a damn dryer plug all ready as has been mentioned. just find whatever fits your receptacle .

The NEC dictates that everything must be of equal ampacity , to do otherwise would be illegal and a fire hazard. All you have to do is get a freakiing dryer cord. Unless this is a pure 240 volt machine it will need a neatrel docotor boost.

Look on the welder where the wire attaches there should be a red , black , white and then a green ground screw somewhere . Find the cord that matches your outlet and your good to go .
