Default Wireless routers?

Long story short, I got a belkin wireless router as a gift and it keeps messing up the internet signal. Doesn't matter if I have a computer directly plugged into it or if its wireless, it does what I'll call a "blip" in the signal and makes the computers not be able to work on the internet again. If I unplug the router and plug it back in it starts working but then its only a matter of time before it stops working again Is there anything I can do with this router to make it stop this or do I just have to cough up the dough for a new one?

Did that, and changed the wireless signal from dynamic to static. But that doesnt explain to me why the hard wired computer would shut off? I have the computer in my room on wireless and the one in the spare room hooked up directly to the router, and when this internet would stop working so would that one. So far so good though.

I went to their site and its got a lifetime warranty. Maybe I'll just use that if it keeps causing problems. It seems to have fixed the problem for now

Now it lasts about 20 minutes then craps out. Guess I'm going to have to call about their supposed lifetime warranty...

Edit: Woot, should have a new router here in a weeks time, then I just send them my ish back and I'm in the clear

What brand is it? I'm sure others have some good warranties, this one has a lifetime warranty, which works out great for me. I got the thing for free and if I have to shell out $6 every year or two for a new router I don't care :P (cover shipping)
