Re: wireless help for the ubuntu OS
what you do with them depends on what kind of files they are.
if they're just the plain files on the website it should be something like
sudo dpkg -i /directory/ndiswrapper-utills-1.39*.deb when you move the files to your desktop, or home directory,. the "/directory" part will more than likely look like "/home/yourustername/ndiswrapper etc." It's all on that link.
the sudo command is to giver you temp super user powers so you have permission to edit system files
the dpkg is the debian package command, it installs and removes .deb files
the -i is telling it to install
the directory/file is telling it what to install and
the *deb is telling it to install it as a debian file.
The information is on that page, dont get to frustrated at it, its aggravating for about a week until you learn it, then you understand why it is like it is.

Re: wireless help for the ubuntu OS
---- I hate computers and wireless ----. I have to reinstall my wireless settings like once a week because it just goes out and both of my computers goes down, including the one that's connected straight to the router. I ------- hate wireless ----.
