The white civic is fast. H22 power. But I think that all the fiberglass and bondo I use weighs it down quite a bit. Thanks for all the coments on the paint. I will post up my paint when it gets done. Probably next saturday.

Ahhh...the Konig Holes...had a set of those, not bad looking wheels for the money. Hey, what all did you have to do for the Si sunroof? I got a 91 Crx Si that i'm taking the sunroof out of and putting into my 89 hatch...any pointers and tips? It almost looks like you cut the skin of the roof off and rewelded the Si piece on there. I think for mine i'm actually going to cut a hole in the stock roof, bend the lips around the hole, cut off the mounts and reweld the mounts and crossmember mounts into the hatch where i want them to be. That way the only hole cut in the roof is for the slider.

How did you go about attaching the WW side caps to the door?

I attached mine with 3 screws and some sort of adhesive all around but the screw heads have shaken/broken the bondo and the little hole slook stupid, what would you do?

Well as far as the sun roof I wouldn't do what you are going to do. It only took me a day to rip it out and put the new one in. You will spend a couple of weeks fabing up you civic roof. Just get the Si roof and drill out the spot welds and reweld in in there. You have to take out the glass and the hatch to put it in there. If you want a step by step let me know I will help you make it go real easy and pain free. Well mabey not pain free but you know what I mean. Plus there are all kinds of bolt holes and stuff on the Si roof that arn't on the DX or HF.

Now the side skirts should have come with double sided tape and if they didn't you got them second hand or they arn't wings west. Thats what I used and put a ---- ton of it on there. Cover all the surfaces. Should stick real well. IF you can get the green kind but I can't find anybody who sells it so I have to use the red.

Yeah, I have the sunroof out of the Crx Si already, even down to the wire intact that plugs into the back of the fuse box and runs to the switch. All i think i'm gonna do is drill out the spot welds on the mount points and re-weld them into my dx hatch where they ought to be. I can see already that i have to cut out one flimsy cross brace that ends up in the middle of the sunroof. I just figured i'd cut out the front and rear mount points too and weld them in as well. But any advice you can give me on this would be greatly appreciated. Rag tops on my old mini trucks was one thing, this is something new to me.

Yeah I think if you do it that way it would work but the thing is trying to get the lip for the opening to be real nice. I would almost cut out around it and put the crx lip on there. But I think the way you are doing it would be more work than its worth. I just did old body work methods that work easy and fast. I drilled out the rain gutters and under the hatch and under the glass and popped it right off. Then I stuck the new one on there and welded away.

I would do it that way, but the only problem is that the sunroof came from a crx, an it's going into a hatchback. Big difference in roof length. ;)
