I had to fix Windows and I got to a part I can find anything for. Its asking for the Administrator code. Does anybody know where to get this or can you just give me one?

 

Is this a new install or a repair? If it's a new install, it's just asking for an admin password for the default admin account. Just type something in and go on. If it's a repair and it's asking for an admin password, you have to know what it is in order to go on. No one can give it to you unless they did your install and put it in originally.

That is just the administrators password.

If this is your computer, this is the same as losing your house key and not knowing why you can't get in the front door.

You can reset the password by modifying the sam using a boot disk/cd/flashdrive, but based upon the original question, I'm not about to explain how to do it since it will be like reading another language to you. If you're really interested, google is your friend. Otherwise, just blow out your existing windows installation and install it fresh. You won't loose any files or data, but you'll have to reinstall/refresh all of your software installs since the reg keys will be gone.

 

Well for some reason it is running really slow. I went into setup and tried to change something and I think that is what caused it to run slower. I don't know what I did. I tried to reinstall it but it still runs slow. Is there a way to just wipe out everything that I did and start over?

 

is this a legit Win XP CD? if so, just stick it in the drive and reboot the PC, it should load from the CD and it's easy enough to follow the prompts.

You dont have to reload you can run 'control passwords2' at the run command and reset any password on a windows XP machine as long as you are not in a network environment. I might have the command wrong but it should be it. Google it if its wrong.
