another thought! my father has a LEGIT Win XP Home CD.. he is currently using this on his computer.
I heard that you are allowed a certain number of unique system config's on XP.. will that cd work for me!?

ive never had a prob using the same key on more then one machine, just install it without setting up an internet connection. If worse comes to worse call microsoft and tell them you lost your key and your computer crashed and you get a new one , or just PM me ill give you a winxp pro cd key i use

my computer HAD Xp Pro.. the programs i NEED to use didnt work on it. so i formatted and installed 98se. but the computer still has the CD Key on the side.. i think i'm gunna borrow that

So if you are using the xp key from the Business 'version' i think you should be fine.
I formatted and reinstalled xp in my desktop and laptop in the same day and I'm pretty sure I used the same key.
Just make sure the XP pro is the copy that Companies are suppose to have only, not the ones for like retail computers
