Will a 3" downpipe fit?

Will a 3" downpipe fit?
I bought a t3 turbo for my d16z6 setup and i want to keep the ac system. The problem is that the exhaust side of the turbo is on the driver side. I got to build the 3" downpipe to fit down past the side of the compressor. Does anyone know if you can make it fit or should i have to go with 2.5" like i have now?

I don`t think it will fit with a regular manifold.
Really i wouldn`t worry about it unless the turbo has a 3 inch outlet (which is usally 2.5 inches)
just run a 2.5 on the outlet and flare into 3 inchs once there`s enough room.

Well its really going to depend on the manifold. Most manifolds wont allow it, in fact most manifolds period dont even support AC. I'm sure you could make a log manifold and put the turbo flange between runners 3/4 and angle it out. It should clear a 3in downpipe just fine. But if your going for super quick spool, I'd probably go with a better flowing mani than a log. So it's definatly gonna have to be a 1 off custom unit.

It really is almost impossible with any style manifold, that size turbo, and stock thickness radiator fan (assuming your using one) to clear a 3" DP and keep A/C. We are working on an A/C compatible version for our log style manifold right now, To accomodate a 3" DP. However, it requires the use of a slim fan. Your definately not going to gain much for spool time with that motor, going from 2.5 - 3.0"
