I only have 205 on my 17" rims and they barely fit under the fender....If I could go wider with some 15" rims Id love to. I want some rota attacks.

first off to everybody who says its stupid, sorry you are un-educated about road racing, second this car never gets driven on the street i only road race and ocassionally take it to dragstrip, right now i have 205/50/15 on some konig heliums, and would like to run widder tires only because there are no limitations on tire size..i did get the info i needed from www.redshiftmotorsports.com though if anyone is interested,

ps to everyone who actually offered help appreciate it

yeah, using spacers and roling the fenders would help. and yes offset is key. I have 205/50/15's on my car and i have about 1/4-1/2 inche before it rubs on the inside of the knuckle arm thinga majig. I say maybe 215's stock would fit withtout spacers and maybe rolling the fenders would be needed but that alson depends on how low your car is.

and yes for your application ( road racing ) wider = more traction on groind, actually doesnt that apply to drag racing aswell? I dont understand why people would think its " south of the border" when your not doing it to be cool but to better your handling and up the am ount of contact the tires have to the ground.

Some people are just to sensitive and are ready to flame before they can even think. to those who do this follow chevy's advise and insert head into noose!
