why NOT to street race

Re:why NOT to street race
Wow, I don't even think I have had my car past 195kph(what that, 120mph) And that was plenty fast enough for me!!! Kinda Scary at those speeds when you don't know whats ahead. I have friends that ride bike at fult tilt (24-280kph, sometime more depending on the bike) all the time. We did the math once and It's unbelievable the little amount of reaction time you have if something happened only a mile up the road.

Re:why NOT to street race
me and my boss in greece used to race our motorbikes. we eould race up this hill from stafilos beach and it would merg onto a main road. then it would be like a 5 miles shot to get into town. we would drive fast as hell full throttle ( automatic bikes ). anyway oneday we saw some lights up ahead and thaught what the hell. me and him cam upto what it seemed to be a guy laying down on the road facing up with his body twitching like mad hell. what had happened was he had t boned a turck on his motorbike and he had no helmet and he was speeding. later on we found out he died from massive brain dammage. would explain having his skull exposed and brain strewn over the road.
spooked me out for a month straight. i wouldnt go fast at all. now i know how to drive a bike better and i dont go asfast.

Re:why NOT to street race
since this turned into "post your street racing accident story" i got one.
We were in my brothers old school prelude racing some jackass in a mustang when we hit the stack(were alot of freeways merge in phx) so we are doing a lil over a 100 and hitting the off ramp to merge from the 51 to the 202 and the mustang tries to match our pace with out too much luck. His *** end gets loose on him and he over corrects and hits the concrete wall and just starts to spin... for some reason we just laughed.

Re:why NOT to street race
my one friend was street racing and a car pulled out in front of him, he crossed the median and hit 2 cars head on. He killed his best friend and his girlfriend. The car also ripped in half. My friend was still strapped into the driver seat, in half the car, still concious. He juckily survived and went to jail for 6 months for vehicular homocide. It was creepy driving past the accident scene cause the body lines were painted on the road cause it was treated as a murder scene. The outline of the kid was in the fetal position. The one firefighter said they used a snow shovel type of thing to get the blood off the road there was so much. Now he has to live with what he's done and I can't imagine what thats like. It was a typical race like we all do every now and than.
