why is insurance so high on new cars?
I called my insurance company to see how much the insurance will be on a 2004 grand prix, and they told me 500 dollars a month!, i didnt even tell them it was a GTP!, i have 2 points and the car is under my moms name not even mine!, is this a insane price or is that about normal? the points arent for dui just speeding and no lights on at night. 500 a month is 6k a year, and in 3 years i paid over the price of the car, should we drop this insurance company and get another? i think theyre ------- us over with 500 a month and we have 3 cars insured right now. input appreciated, haters flame and humor me bitches

I only pay $211 a month for full converage on an oversized 03 truck and I have 2 speeding tickets and an at fault accident(IT WAS NOT MY ------- FAULT GOD DAMN IT). You're getting fucked. $500 a month is just highway robbery.
