Here is the deal I bought a ram horn manifold off ebay and I recieved the box that was for the manifold and it was empty-but the seller paid for shipping that would make me believe something was in the box when he shipped it-so I believe someone removed it while it was shipped

What was the shipping weight compared to the weight when you received it?
Possibly a scammer spending a few bucks to get around a paypal dispute?

exactly what I was thinking but the guys feed back was perfect around a positive 80, but in the sceme of things i really dont give a ---- about his feed back-See I am at college now and my dad opened it and I think he said shipping was 18

Well, if you inspect the package carefully, im pretty sure there will be signs of whether the part was in there or not. Yes the guy could be a very careful planner and an elaborate scammer, but most thiefs with that kind of talent arent trying to scam people for ram horn manifolds. So look at the box very carefully and see if the box is mangled, or has multiple layers of tape. Also look to see if there is any carbon or residue on the packaging paper in the box. That might help you to see if he in fact sent it at all. At this point you cant be sure what happened. Im not sure how much you paid for this thing and if you paid for insurance on it, but if you did then i would contact the seller, tell him nothing against him but you just want to make sure the ball gets rolling before your paypal deadline for a refund is up. File a claim and say item not as described. Tell the seller to file a shipping claim with the carrier and he will get his $ that way and everyone is covered. If he is a thief, your probably long past screwed if hes legit and your part was insured, you should both be covered.

it was shipped UPS-I think ups only insures up to $100, but im not sure, but yea I will look at the package when I get home

This actually happened to me with a ching chong meow turbo. Yeah I was ------- pissed. Just keep on it. Send them pictures and any info you have.

Wtf is up with the under aged looking girl and the other topless broad? Anyway, I dont trust ebay and if at all possible I dont use it. The first time I used it I got scammed over a damn sticker, and this was by someone who had a perfect reputation.

did u pay with paypal? have u started a dispute with paypal? have u dispute with your CC company?

BTW, I can print a 150lb lable at my paypal account, pay for shipping yet ship you an empty box with it because no one ever check/ weight the packages when they are dropped off.

I know about the paypal sticker and printing it off yourself, thats what I do, but the label was one from the post office and I put a paypal claim in and going to the post office tommorrow
