yeah, there is a serious issue with the code you get from crackdown.

grenades seem really weak to me so far. gameplay will be much more fun once i know the maps.

damn i wish i had the beta version. id be all over it. the worst part is i work midnights, so i play during the day where most of you low-life hmt'ers are working then. oh and i just got off of xbl. i was bored. plus the bastards quit on me mid match. so it was just me and some uk bitch agianst 4 for the longest time in G.O.W.

So did you get one of the original non-crackdown invites? I missed that one too due to a drunken night. Other than weak nades and not knowing the map....better or equal to halo 2?

Signing up can be done from the dashboard like they said. Check your other game cases and see if you have some valid 2-month trials. Headset is a must, the ---- talking gets old when it's a 7yr old whoopin your *** while her mother is bitchin at her to do her homework, but not being able to -----talk back is a definite handicap.

yep, played a few games. its fun, really similar to halo 2, with different controls. i've been putting so many hours into gears that i really lost my touch with this game. i think its safe to say, that for the next 3 weeks, all i'll be playing is this.

Looks like I will have to stop by Fred Meyer or wherever and get an xbox live subscription card. I tried signing up online through my xbox, but I got stuck at the point where I had to enter a subscription number.

hey bbk if your using a regular xbox make sure to get a regular subscription card the xbox 360 ones wont work just a heads up.

I checked it out on the xbox site and kinda already assumed that the subscriptions were different, but thanks for the tip. I should be online and getting my *** beat in a few hours lol, I really need to practice.

Oh and my buddy just said they have new maps for Halo 2? I guess they reset them every once in a while?
