No they can't. They can't touch your bank account. Some rag head sold a plasma TV on my Egay account and my paypal account went negative $1700. they have yet to touch my bank account because they legally can't.

My PayPal account is deleted and all connections to my bankaccount deleted. He is saying he is filing it on he credit card. Paypal won't due crap. They ask if he recieves a package. If he says yes they say sorry your claim can't be accepted. If he says no I show them the reciept and that done.

I'm worried about him filing a charge back. How will that work/go. He paid thru paypal, but I guess he paid thru his credit card. I just find it hard to believe that the package came messed up after I pissed him off about not giving him a free manifold or a refund.

(114 AM 1/15/2006) NACvicSi: The rest? All that was left was the IM. I told you it might have been trashed.
(5:06 AM 1/16/2006) urname7698: oh yea you said you got the crankpulley/wp/etc in the box with the head.. I thought you were going to check on the IM this weekend. If its tossed you'll just send me the y8 IM when its warmer then right?
(10:56 AM 1/16/2006) NACvicSi: I think I can dig up another. We'll se though. Have you ever port matched a manifold?
(46 PM 1/16/2006) urname7698: nope.. never have..why?
let me know what you find out about the mani
(51 PM 1/16/2006) NACvicSi: Cause if I can't find the A6 that is port matched you can port match your Y7. The Y7 is shorter that the Y8 or A6, so under boost the boost has less to travel. All you do to port match is this. Get a IM gasket. Put it on the head. Trim away the IM gasket till it is even with the head ports. Then put that on the IM and mark around the inside of the port holes on the IM gasket with a marker. Then you know how much of the IM to port. Just use a dremel.
(4:22 AM 1/17/2006) urname7698: sounds pretty simple.. but I did pay for the port matched A6 one or the d16y8 one .. so I want one or the other or a partial refund. I plan to run this NA for a while so I'd much rather have the y8 or A6 one..
(11:03 AM 1/17/2006) NACvicSi: Actually you didn't pay for it. I said you could have it. I didn't need it. I found the A6 one. It's installed on a 91 civic now lol. I am going to get it back though. Still the same boat, got to wait till it warms up.
(113 AM 1/17/2006) urname7698: saying i could have it is the same as paying for it..

Looks like the head should be delivered today.. i'll let you know how it looks when i get it
(11:55 AM 1/17/2006) NACvicSi: Better be in good condition. When we were walking out I looked back and saw the guy take it back to the room and just drop it.
(11:56 AM 1/17/2006) urname7698: heh.. typical fedex.. thats what packing crap is for..
(11:59 AM 1/17/2006) NACvicSi: I had it stuffed with a crap load of newspaper. Still kinda pissed me off that he dropped it knowing what it was ( I had just told him).

How is saying you can have it the same as paying for it lol. I said you could have it just pay shipping. You didn't pay anything for it. I gave you two $10 spark plugs and a $15 intake gasket....do I expect you to pay for them since I gave them to you?

He is saying it was packed with 4 pieces of news paper Why would I pack a $800 head in 4 pieces of newpaper :1

That box was so full of newspaper if bulged in every direction. Here is the link below. Look at the pictures he posted. You can even see where the box has bulged out from stuffing so much.

He posted pictures a little on down on the first page. You can see how the box is beat up. The box was brand new. Hold on I will post them hear for simplicity.

Look how many pieces are loose. Here is a picture of how many were loose when I sent it. They were wrapped and inside the head where the cam goes. How did the rocker arm assembly come off, the pieces come un wrapped, and end up and the bottom of the box where a whole just happened to be poked in a stuffed box? Keep in mind that the rocker arm assmbly ends were on and rocker arm assmbly in place.

He is showing the news paper that the head was wrapped in. Ok heres what I did. I took the loose pieces and wrapped them in some paper in a "log". Put that in where the cam goes. I then put the rocker arm assembly on. Then I I realized I had left the cam out So I wrapped it up in some paper and put it inbetween the teeth on the intake manifold side. I thine wrapped the head in paper.

After that I opened up full sheets of newspaper and crushed them into. I completely stuffed the box, so full it would hardly close.

We don't have an official FedEc place here. Only those franchise type places that FedEx comes ever so often to pick the shipments from them. I told him I didn't even want to use FedEx, but he insisted. We got there right when they were closing. There is a big bay window where you can see in on the front, I saw him take the head back there and just drop it. The reason I didn't say anything is because I knew how well I had packed it. Like I said, I think he got pissed because I wouldn't give him the free manifold.

Anyone know what the credit card company will do?

he can lie and say he never made the charges.. say his credit card got stolen..

then cc company pulls money from paypal.. then paypal pulls money from ur paypal account..

if ur account is negative.. never open up another paypal account..

even tho they cant pull the money out of ur bank account they can place holds on money inside ur paypal account.. so.. he cant do ----..

tell him to get fucked.

Yeah but if he lies about it and the credit card company or paypal contact me I have the shipping lables that HE sent me. Also have the PayPal e-mail showing his address and all.

Hes saying that I am wrong for using news paper. Look at this take from FedEx's own packaging guide:

Pack It: Non-Fragile, Non-Breakable Items 4
Single-Box Packing Method
Special Requirements: Engines, Transmissions, Lawn Equipment, Motorcycles
Photos, Posterboard, X-rays
Industrial Machinery Parts, Sheet Metal Parts
Printed Matter

Pack It:
Non-Fragile, Non-Breakable Items
Single-Box Packing Method
•Ship nonfragile products like soft goods inside a
sturdy outer container.
Use fillers like crumpled newspapers, Bubble Wrap® or
loose-fill peanuts to fill voids and prevent movement of
goods inside the box during shipment.
