I found a hole in the spare tire well of my crx yesterday >:( >:(

I'm looking for some1 who has a wrecked crx who is willing to cut a replacement panel from theirs out for me.

3" in diameter, straight out to the ground. Its right under the tools mount bracket thing.

Well damn.. I was goin to cut the whole spare tire well..lol. If you only need that much, I could probably send it in a big an envelope. Why not get some sheet metal and just patch it?

My uncle is a body shop guy for 25yrs. Im going to get him to do it the right way over the winter (free storage to boot).

But hell ya. i'll take more than i really need. better to have more than not enough.

if u have ANY of the white clips that hold the rear storage bin down. and any part of the interior for the rear floor.

put a peice of sheet metal over it from the bottom, weld that ---- up there, then bondo on the top, sand it down and your golden. what makes a peice of sheet metal from home depot any different from a peice of sheet metal cut from another CRX

i have that same hole.

quick fix, cover the hole in about 6 layers of tin foil...jb weld over it.

i think originally that hole had a rubber plug in it or something.

i have a welder and i live close by. or did you forget about the ontario hmt meet... :-\ i even have some stainless i could patch it with. :P

jesus, just go get some sheet metal cut it out, weld it in and paint it up.

If you dont have a welder what were you thinking to fix it? some CALK or some sweet JB weld? ;)
