I haven't really done much research, but not much is going to change for me. It'll be snowball's day in hell before I vote Democrat, so it's really between Ron Paul and whoever the Republican candidate ends up being.

I'm just waiting to see who actually has a chance, and I'm not ruling out the possibility of voting for Ron Paul if he has a good solid chance at it - but I'm not going to ride his nuts like a lot of other people are doing.

So basically it's Republican or Ron Paul for me, I'll have to do more research and figure out who more closely matches my interests - but I can guarantee it won't be a Democrat I vote for.

And that's why the Dems will win. If Paul runs as an Indep he will suck a ton of votes from the Reps.

He already said there's about a 0.01% chance he's going to run independent.
