My old EF sat for over a year it it started right up (new motor, 1+ year old gas). See how much gas is in it, maybe you"ll get lucky and it"ll be low. Hopefully it starts up and runs, if the head is screwed at least you have that other LS head of mine.

If you do this for Jorsher, and that is a Miata I see in your avatar, I hereby waive your n00b hazing.

Welcome to the fold, brother.

Yup, I replaced it, just haven't had a key to start it.

The hatch is also busted, so I guess I'll get one from the junkyard, and someone owes me a paintjob.

Friend is calling his cop uncle today to try and get me the contact info for the previous registrar

nah I haven't. I figured I'd change the timing belt, try it, and maybe I'll be lucky and it'll be fine. Otherwise, doug gave me a spare ls head to use, and they're pretty much garbage and go a dime a dozen. I'm just hoping that I'm very lucky and the not-so-lumpy non-vtec head didn't get eaten.
