I do. I use to race motocross also, had to stop when I
moved to Seattle.. no where to keep my ----. I just found
out last week i'm going to be starting school at MMI
(motorcycle mechanics institute) on sep 27th in Phoenix. I'm stoked.

Haha, they say those are supposed to smoke the Banshee. ::) The Raptor doesn't have near enough power to please me. I like having a bike that you actually have to try to hold the front tire on the ground, not one that doesn't have enough power to pull the front wheel(s) off the ground. :P They are decent bikes for night rides and just cruising, but I'm young and I need something rediculously fast and on the edge of being uncontrollable. 8)

the raptor is not what it was supposed to be. it has excellent torque but it lacks top end. the new yamaha with the liquid cooled yzf450 mtor should own it. personally, i would ride a suzuki lt500r quadzilla if i was going to invest in a quad.

The Raptor has like -0- top end. I'm always waiting for the power band up top, but it never kicks in. ??? If you put a high lift cam and a high compression piston in it, then it might be fun. Call me trendy, but I wouldn't buy anything but a Banshee as far as quads go. You just can't beat the insane top end of the twins. A guy I used to go to Glamis with had an 88 and a 96 and they ------- owned everything out there. Rediculously fast. It's such a badass feeling when you pin it and the force it puts on your rists stops you from letting off so you have no choice but to hammer it.........I want a Banshee. :(
