Update:
Total repair costs of my truck= $1542.55
Total repair costs of old guys van= $1200
Thsi ------- guy was born in 1925. OMG he doesn't need to be driving anymore.
The god damn stupid *** cop that took the report wrote it down as me running into the old guy. In order for that to have been possible I would have had to been traveling sideways at at least 10mph. ------- idiot. What a dipshit. I told him WTF happened and he still managed to ---- it up. Worthless mother ******.......
I got a letter in the mail from my insurance company saying the old bastard made a claim on my insurance. Son of a bitch. That ------- dinosaur admitted it was his fault and now he's trying to make claims and ----? It doesn't help me any that the ------- retarded *** cop wrote down some bullshit he pulled out of his ***.
My insurance is going to offer him 50% and tell him to ---- himself and they say I will get 50% of my loss from his insurance. I guess something about being in a parking lot on public property ***** the policy up or something?

Insurance is a ------- bitch and so are cops. One time someone rear ended me in my Integra, the cop wrote up the ticket as if it was my fault saying a rolled back into him. I was ------- heated, we weren't even on a hill but when the cop sees someone young they have to some how make it their fault

yea, usually in a parking lot its a no fault accident, and you guys slit it 50/50, but I heard that if one person admits fault to the accident, then he and his insurance company are solely reponsible. I'd fight it man, cause if your insurance company has to pay anything out, your rates will go up.

i've said it before and i'll say it again, collisions in parking lots SUCK *** because there are no actual traffic laws that apply and insurance companies ALMOST ALWAYS go 50/50 on the damage. Even if the old guy wanted to admit it, his insurance company probably told him not to (because they didn't want to pay for 100% of the damage) and that's why he made a claim against you. sux man, sorry to hear.
