Re: Who makes the most durable mechanic's/contractors gloves?
I've always bought baseball gloves. They wear just like more expensive gloves and I don't think there's anything out there that really lasts long.

I have these gloves I bought on base...actually, I have 2 pair's. Padded around the knuckle, all of the fingers have this nice material, oil doesnt soak through the glove, the palms are padded...overall they are a great glove. Cheap too. Something like $15-
If you want, I can figure out the brand of them. |

I have a pair of Makita Impact gloves. They're so awesome compared to "Mechanics" brand it's stupid. It's like Makita=D, Mechanics=K. They are the ----. Unwearable rubber tipped fingers that are stickier than hot gum balls. And they're comfy.

Re: Who makes the most durable mechanic's/contractors gloves?
Tillman makes some fitted work gloves that are pretty nice and cheap $10. I use them when welding and they last a pretty damn long time.
Lol, didn't even read to post above me. But they do work well and are cheap. I also get them at the welding supply store, I was cringing the first time I bought a pair since they don't put the prices on anything and I figured they where going to cost even more than mechanix brand. Then I seen they where $10. I would say they are the best bang for the buck by far. Damn, $7.50 here http://www.n-hawk.com/cgi-bin/n-hawk...p=results_item I'dstill pay a little extra to support a local business though |
