Re: Who the hell is Greg Leone...
---- i'm in san diego and the closest 1/4 mile track is over 1.5 hours away. i'm not sure where the closest track is but i know there are a couple in los angles
we have two 1/8th mile tracks local, but one track is complete crap. 60ft times are ridiculous.
the other track is cool, but unless you are running 5-6sec 1/8th mile times you look really slow cause all the fast *** full blown muscle cars race there.

eh, i drive ~70 miles (bout an hour and 15 minutes) to byron cause they dont give a rats *** about tech inspection, that and its cheaper... joliet dragway is ~45 minutes away, but more $$$, less runs, and i wont pass tech.

Re: Who the hell is Greg Leone...
check out baronadrags.com
the prices differ for what is going on, but the track is much better then qualcomm and there are bleachers to sit in so you are not standing all night.
there is no db limit on exhaust and no min et like at qualcomm.
when you are there it feels like a real drag track.
i've never ran there, but i have friends that have and their 60ft times are a lot better then at qualcomm.
