my integra i would strip down bare anything behind the 2 front seats, but for track day only, i was running a straight pipe and it was twice as loud as before.

on my ef i run a magnaflo exhaust and its still quieter with the rear ---- in.

it takes 10min to strip, i only strip it on track days.

the back of my rx7 is stripped. it doesnt get nearly as hot as it did with the burgandy carpet in the back.

I have a gutted rear, got annoying so I'm in the process of making a custom rear section out of hardboard and carpet. I'm Keeping real easy to remove for track day.

I gutted my rear, it's really noisy, and it helps, take out the passenger seat too.

anyone ever weigh the ---- they took out? this drag racer guy that visited our auto class told me it takes 100 pounds to shave a 10th off in the quarter. sound like a worthless mod to do
