Who has a stripped interior?
 

Who has a stripped interior... was it worth it or not? Im trying to squeeze every last 10th out of the accord on the stock block (for now)... was stripping the interior worth it? She seems very sensitive to weight changes

yeah its ;D worth it. but then you'll lose comfort
driving under rain becomes soo loud you cant hear the radio.

Radio? What's that? ??? I have the ass end of my hatch stripped. If I ever get to drive the piece of ---- I might be able to tell you if it made a difference. ::) I'm thinking of junping on the dash, but I haven't decided if that would be worth it or not. I kinda like having a dash. :-\

i ran it stripped in my crx for a while

Thumbs down on stripped interior for me. Screws up the weight distribution on a front drive car that is already nose-heavy. I tried it, and if I had it to do over again, i'd just add more power.

Both my EF and Integra have stripped rear sections. Both have the 2 front seats and the plastic, but thats it. The Integra's got a full roll bar in there so most of that shiz I removed including the speakers.

I had my back passenger side huge ass panel off when I was doing my battery relocation and it's so ------- loud you'd be surprised if you haven't had something like that before. but ---- it, I drive with the windows down anyways and that's loud, stripped interior wouldn't be that bad.

my integra i would strip down bare anything behind the 2 front seats, but for track day only, i was running a straight pipe and it was twice as loud as before.

on my ef i run a magnaflo exhaust and its still quieter with the rear ---- in.

it takes 10min to strip, i only strip it on track days.

the back of my rx7 is stripped. it doesnt get nearly as hot as it did with the burgandy carpet in the back.

I have a gutted rear, got annoying so I'm in the process of making a custom rear section out of hardboard and carpet. I'm Keeping real easy to remove for track day.

I gutted my rear, it's really noisy, and it helps, take out the passenger seat too.

anyone ever weigh the ---- they took out? this drag racer guy that visited our auto class told me it takes 100 pounds to shave a 10th off in the quarter. sound like a worthless mod to do
