Who Has the Most Ghetto Home Made Rigged Turbo kit Here?
Well, as the topic states.... post pics of the most ghetto turbo home made setup you own or have done or have seen before...
This is just so i can get an idea and how cheap i can be when i mock mine up.

Here's the setup on the ZC(RIP), same ---- is on my D16a1(knocking now):
I ran it without an Intercooler for about 4 months before I picked this FMIC. Like the way I hung it:
Now the FMIC looks like this:

What is everyone's infatuation with FMIC's? I don't get it. People on the street always ask, "Hey man you got a front mount?" Like you need one to run a turbo car. I ran mine at 9psi with no intercooler for ~4-5 months.

The pistons looked fine except I did not get to the side of them where the damage was done to the ring lands.
All of them looked very dark and sooty in color. No white or anything. Obviously the exhaust valves were white in color but that's normal.

so that means i must have for about 2 days, then i got a nice front mount and it wasnt AS ghetto... although one of my friends claims that he knows someone with a turbo VW that is a 100times more ghetto (but makes 200whp)...

Dude when people ask you this, you should tell them it's a prototype custom super cold air intake. And the psssh sound they hear is cause the "prototype SUPER cold air intake" sucks up so much air it needs a BOV.
