Who had the MSDN subscription/access?
My power supply started screwing up on my PC so a replacement order was in place.
Intel Quad-core Q6600 2.4ghz
OCZ (Orange ChickenZ) Vendetta 2 CPU Cooler (so proc can be overclocked to 3.4-3.6ghz)
2 x 2gb gSkill DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 RAM
Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P mobo
1tb Western Digital Caviar Black
Antec P182
ATI Radeon 4850
Corsair 750w PSU
I know someone on here had MSDN access, who was it? I need Vista Ultimate 64-bit with SP1.
Well played, sir.

I'm just saying it's the best free option if you're a student imo, not necessarily better than Vista, depending on what your needs are. It basically is Vista and can be made to act almost exactly like Vista with some quick tweaks. No Media Center though, but this is just my server so it doesn't need to run Media Center. It's also my torrent box now, I don't need to leave my HTPC on all the time anymore.

I might push it to 3.6ghz to see if it'll take it, but wouldn't keep it at that level even if it was perfectly stable.
The mobo and PSU are made for overclocking. PSU has a 60 amp rail and low noise. Motherboard is made to keep cool, filter noise, and get raped. Supports up to DDR2 1600.
