Who goes over a bridge often?

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/n...scolumnist-hed

I seen it on CNN and was like WTF? It had received a clean inspection last year. Wonder when the results will be in so the lawsuits can begin?

I've been at HCMC for the past few days. Crazy to see all the bloody people carried in. Happened not 4 blocks away from where I was, and 2 blocks away from the U of M. ----, I drove on that road 15 minutes before the collapse.

Re: Who goes over a bridge often?

it did not receive a clean bill of health at all. 3 years ago it had an inspection that stated it was pretty much unsafe and required extensive repairs. 1 year ago the inspection indicated that the bridge had multiple stress fractures.

i should have been on that bridge yesterday after work as well (i got off of work at 6pm and would have been on the bridge about 6:15 when it came down). thank god for UPS having no clue where my package was

Re: Who goes over a bridge often?

Yeah, that ----'s fucked up. If you live anywhere in the metro, there's a big chance that you've used that bridge multiple times. It's always a major rush hour commute, and is gonna ---- traffic for a long time. I remember someone talking about the bridge condition on the radio stressing that the bridge was safe yesterday... :1

Re: Who goes over a bridge often?

Nothing new to me, we've had two bridges go out here in the past year but the only difference is there wasn't anybody on the bridge and my city isn't exactly the size of Minneapolis.

Re: Who goes over a bridge often?

When you have the government in charge of keeping ---- safe, you'll get ---- on every time. I believe a whole 5 people died so far, and between 24 hour news coverage and a photo op by every government official from here to DC, the big picture says this ain't ----.

5 people die, and the government fails to do its job, every muthafucken day. Wooptie woop, nigga what?
