Sounds more like someone carrying a gun to one-up people and eventually get arrested (for brandishing) or killed (for it not being useable in time). You pull a gun out and someone should be stopped or dead not mis a step when they see it drawn, only to continue on seeing a magazine being dug out of pockets lol!

My magazine is right next to the grip. I can pull both out with one hand at the same time.
It's really not that difficult.

And Im not saying that single action with a safety is the best way to carry. Simply explaining:
1) Jorsher is craving a weapon (SA 1911) that he would never feel safe with
2) Why SA 1911, or a DA/SA pistol that *CAN* be - should be carried loaded, chambered, cocked & locked with a manual safety - Condition 1
You are carrying condition 4. Which... Isn't a "carry condition", it's a storeage condition.
jorsher i do not know if you are in in a state that requires a license / CCW but you should understand that in MOST. Only police/security forces in most states have the right to draw a weapon before they are ready to use it in deadly force. When you draw a gun, someone should be shot so you don't get sued a month later. Not trying to harp, just educate.
