Honestly, health care has advanced in such an exponential way that any issues that held true 200 years ago need to be scaled up like 2^10 times. Do we really want the same death rates among birthing mothers? Do we really want 1/3 of our population with TB? A hundred years ago 1/2 of Boston had TB. We have huge concentrations of people now. I just think this is something that needs to be chewed on for a while.

I'm a sexist sack of ---- and I'm undecided on my vote. I was going to vote for Stephen Colbert but the SC democratic party doesn't view him as a viable candidate so he won't be on the ballat.

What? What does Africa have to do with anything? You do realize that for the first 15 years they had no idea what HIV was or how it was ------. It's not like you walk into a village in Africa and you watch your television and see the latest news report on AIDS. For years they didn't even know they were sick.
