Don't ------- tease me :P Its a mass air car. I do lurk there but I never heard of that setup for fuel. Do you have a link to it? I was thinking about single but looking at everything a twin turbo would be easier. There's more room for 2 little turbos instead of one big one. Compared to the clusterfuck of the Civic, I don't think it would be too bad ;) The only bad thing would be where to put the MAF with 2 turbos |

Re: Whitey converted to the dark side...
Turbocharging those engines seems almost too easy, easier than hondas even. I hate that everybody in the world has a better ECU than Toyota.
Can you just flip the headers like on the 5.0? My buddy and I are modifying some shortie headers on his 351W. Just how randomstrike did it, however pointed downwards, instead of upwards. We are removing the factory fan, and installing electric fans. The two headers are going to merge together, and the turbo mounted directly in front of the water pump. The compressor outlet points to the driver's side, then to the IC, then to the intake manifold. It's actually very very easy, that thing would be wicked boosted. |
