Ya, I still dont believe he has ever dyno'd the thing, I think that 485whp is just a claim.
http://www.hotrod.com/hotrod/feature...mage_large.jpg http://www.hotrod.com/hotrod/feature...mage_large.jpg Claims 27psi, yet his boost gauge doesnt even go that high, and since when does a stock honda map sensor read that much boost ::) |
Re:where is that post on that white civic with like 485 horse power from Endyn
I thought that seemed high as ---- for a supercharged Honda.

At first i thought about it an said...wow thats ------- amazing..but after thinking about it that is alot of lbs of boost. but then again it is built by larry and god knows how he came up with all the specs to make it run like it does....especially on pump gas..

i believe with the supercharger the throttle body doesnt recieve boost so the map would see normal atmospheric pressure, not boost unlike turbocharged car...the throttle body is before the boost where the map vacuum line would come from, just a thought.. ;)

"Widmer relies on some high-tech solutions. Strain gauges pass through the block and rest against the cylinders. If the cylinders start to flex, the engine management system decreases timing (up to 20 degrees) and adds fuel to the appropriate holes. He also uses a GM knock sensor" |
