Where to get old tax info/documents

Well in 2003 I didnt file a state return cause the return amount was tiny.

SO.

When I file in 2004, instantly the revenue dept decides to send me a letter saying I have to file 2003's in 30 days or pay them like 700 bucks.

I don't have my 2003, W2's and hell I can hardly remember where I worked in 2003. Also I don't have my federal 1040ez form from 2003 either.

Can anyone offer any advice as to where to get this stuff or what I can do?

It's kinda retarded they want me to file now...hello, you owe ME money.

You are supposed to keep ALL that ---- for at least 3 years back...

You're fucked unless you can call up your employers in 2003 and get them to send you a copy of your W2.

is there anyway for me to find my 2003 return since i'm not a model citicen and don't keep mine for three years.

thats probably what i am going to do. moving so many times over so little a period of time has made alot of my stuff disappear.
