Where do you see yourself in another couple of years?

As far as goals/plans, in another couple of years, where do you see yourself? As far as goals/plans.

My fiancee and I are taking a trip out of the country next summer, we haven't decide where yet, but I'm voting for Japan as of the moment. The year after next I'm going to graduate in Engineering Design and my Ficancee is going to be a pharmacist, only two more years. As soon as I graduate, i'm going to get a new car, possibly new 350z and turn my CRX into a fulltracktrailorqueen race car ;D oh yeah, she also promised me a bike :P

So what are your plans?

I hope and pray I'll be out of this town and making the money I should be making. Maybe by then I'll settle down and figure out what I want in life. :-\

I was thinking about becoming a full time junkie. Living underneath a bridge/overpass and drinking cans of colt 45 day in, day out. After my trip to NYC I was really inspired by the local homeless population. Regardless I need to pick a nice city to follow out my dreams. Hey Rafi, can I tag along to Dallas with you?

I've already laid my roots here as the internationally known super crack wh0re cross dresser. Sucky sucky 5 dolla. I stil can't make up my mind on what to do yet as in what field to go into. Intrested in pharmaceuticals but then again i've always liked the IT world but after 2000 it's not as spiffy as it used to be just BLAH

Re:Where do you see yourself in another couple of years?

I think I can sum this up for everyone. :)

In about 5 years, you will all be doing the same thing you are now, only 5 years older. Chances are maybe one or two of the younger folk on here will actually succeed in some aspect of life, leaving the rest to ponder where they went wrong in life. As you sit and wonder where you went wrong you make excuses for how you are now and how you should have chosen different paths 5 years ago. And as you sit and whine about your choices, 5 more years will go by and you will be 10 years into the future, in the same spot, and now regretting the "mistakes" you made. When in reality the only mistake you made was wasting time trying to "plan" life.

:)

point being, life changes. Dont plan too far ahead, because it will never happen. Thats in a nutshell, get it? ;D

That was actually funny. I don't know about others', but mines are not merely just plans. I always prefer and try to be as realistic as I can, I base everything on facts and take in everything consideration before making the next steps. Same thing for the lady, she's too committed some times she scares me. Unless "The Day After Tomorrow" come true or somebody chopped off my arms/legs or head, things will be the way I want them to be in another two years.
With the nowaday society, you will be looked down and treated like ---- regardless of "everybody is created equal" bullshit UNLESS you make enough to be at the "top" of the "midde class" or to surpass "middle class". At least that's how I see it, that's the only thought that keep me in my chair in class ( that and I want to design a new car :P)

Re:Where do you see yourself in another couple of years?

Speaking of staying in your chair in class. I graduate from UTI in 3 weeks baby!!! Then enter the world of a Flat Rate Toyota Technician. Been working for them for about a year already.
I'm able to stay at the dealership until the lights go out @ 11pm. So i'll have plenty of late nights w/countless projects only to later tear up the streets of houston.

So in 2 months, i'll be making $12/hr up from 9. Flagging at least 40-65hrs making 500-800 per week. So in 1year from now I hope to make 35k. 2 years at least 40k. Definately going to begin saving money and start several retirement plans within 2yrs. My g/f of 2.5years and I will probably be engaged. NO KIDS for at least 4yrs (i hope).

Re:Where do you see yourself in another couple of years?

This is one of those lame posts where all the guppies interject where they are so much better then everyone else. "Why I'm going to be working for honda in 4 years making a triple digit salary".

Grow the ---- up. I'm not telling anyone my future plans cause I don't want them to know my future plans. If you know me then you know where I stand in life, otherwise everyone around here is pretty much trying to brag how their lives are so greate. Gee would it be so great if you got hit by a dumptruck tomorrow and spend the next five years learning how to walk again?

Re:Where do you see yourself in another couple of years?

I don't think it's so much of "bragging how great my life is" because at this point it is anything but great, working full time making 7.50$ an hour, then go to school at night, living in an apartment without a garage so I can't never work on my car. ::) I started this thread just for the hell of it. I do not think i'm better than anybody else, I'm working my ass off. I'm sorry if this thread touched your sensitive spots, yet I do no think it's lame.
