Where do you buy your sheet steel?

I'm looking for a good provider of sheet steel.
Can anyone help?

Thanks

I'm looking at price to determine material.
It needs to be mild steel (cold or hot rolled).
Probably 1/8" or 1/6" thick.

My business provider sells them in sheets of 5' x 10' and I think I can find it in a better price.

Actually, I just counted it up and due to weight restraints I'm no longer so flexible ;D
It needs to be between .075" - .105" thick.

you're talking like 12 gauge. 11 guage is about .120" give or take, so 12 gauge should get you into that range.

check www.onlinemetals.com not totally sure if they do sheets. cold roll is probably gonna be alot cheaper.

Cold rolled is usually a little bit more expensive.
Online metal gives me prices 2-4x what mine are :P

i dunno, we typically always get basic cold roll, and only hot roll when we really need larger size sheets (over 72" wide). I assumed it was price related cause my boss is the cheapest ---- on the planet.

yeah i had no idea what online metals pricing is like.

we get all of our metal from american steel and integris metals, but we buy 1000's of lbs at a time.

hardware stroes have it if you just neeed a little, but you need a steel supplier if you need a lot, and shop around, because prices vary a lot, and cold rolled costs more
