where do u guys buy clutch from?

Re:where do u guys buy clutch from?
I think you need to consider the price and quality of what you're getting. Lots of people will try to sell you a clutch saying it will hold some insane amount of horsepower. A stock clutch will hold well over 1000hp if you spin it at 20,000 RPM.
Clutches are measured in how much torque they can hold and it's difficult to get such a figure from a builder. I was going to get involved with a local clutch manufacturer (Bully) to design a tool for testing this but they haven't decided yet...
The other question is how streetable? It's not too hard to make a 3 puck clutch with a heavy pressure plate hold a lot of torque. It is, however not very nice to drive on. Especially if you must drive in traffic.
Assuming a reasonable amount of torque why not look into a full face feramic or even dual friction clutch. I had a dual friction on my STi and it felt like it was stock. I also had a 5 puck sprung and it was hell to drive. In a few weeks I'll know how nice a dual friction is on my 323GTR...
You might want to give Bully (www.bullyclutch.com) a call as one of the owners has a fairly quick 1.7EL. At least they know firsthand what you will need.

You ask for help after you said this
This guy bashed on like 6 of HMTs most helpfull people couse they disagreed with him.

My car redlines at 570000 RPM well over the required rpm to make 800000hp. it's one of them vtech motors.
BTW there is a clutch group buy going in the for sale section, it's for d-series clutches, but I think if you ask nicely 88 might try and make an exception (maybe, don't qoute me on that)

Re:where do u guys buy clutch from?
Fortunately for me Bully is 10 minutes away and they're going to make me a stage 3 - resprung + machined PP plus 2 side feramic for about 3 bills. I don't know how much torque a 200hp/10 PSI setup will make but I'm sure that clutch won't slip.
I've also got experimental anti-lag implemented on the latest ECU code so that with launch control - 2-5 PSI at idle should be good for some clutch burning fun...

Re:where do u guys buy clutch from?
Well here's my set up maybe u guys can give a hint on what's better for me:B18A t3/t4 turbonetics,fmic,fmu,afc,550cc inj.walbro fuel pump,AEM FPR,AEM fuel rail,AEM cam gears, dsm ig.sistem, wiseco pist/rods,chipped ecu,GSR tranny and all the reg stuff like bov, wast. The reasonn why i wnat it to be able to hold 450+ is because my block is in the shop already sleeved,i already bought all my valvetrain componentes(minus cams)and i know that if get it tunned right i'll be able to get some serious power out of it.
