That's what I did originally...unfortunately didn't work out so well. :P The bearings were way too small to the point that the crank actually locked in place and wouldn't turn at all. I only planned on using the King aleculars that I bought for the 2 green and 1 brown bearing size, might've been able to squeeze the yellow too but the pink one was just too tight.

Ok, I'm on majestic's site...which ------' bearing's would I need? The don't have color codes listed >:(

Thats the way to do it. If your sitting with greens and browns...maybe a yellow than just roll with the ACL's. But the last engine i put together was a rainbow of colors and the ACL's wouldnt cut it.

The ACLs are best used when you are having a machine shop assemble the engine. They micropolish everything to match the ACLs so the tolerances are correct. When doing it yourself, the color codes are the easiest way to get it right without the machining.

We use the OEMs for the majority of our builds, when machining is not needed.

Yeah, I really don't want to machine the crank if I don't have to, the journals are too nice looking lol.

Someone get Dustin to post the answer I need, he's used b20 bearings before for his LS motors IFRC.
