where can i buy an o2 bung from? should they have them at an exhaust shop?

and get one with out those zinc coatings on it, With your welding skills it might be impossible to weld it on, lol.

it's a pop can to the side of a NSX, NSXs are aluminium, not tin.
But yeah, one time I welded a hand gun to my fridge, for a handle, it was wicked.

You can use the Help! #42002 spark plug non-foulers. They're 18mm just like o2 sensors and you get a couple of em for like $4. You have to cut it in half with a hacksaw, but that's easy enough.
