alright last night i thought i was shumacher and i spun out coming out of a turn on some leaves and hit a curb and my ------- wheel fell off. I hit the curb at like 60ish, it was stupid you don't need to tell me again i was smacking my self. Any way i hit the curb sideways with the rear pass wheel in between two trees no less. But what do you break when the actual wheel breaks in like that? My buddy put it on his uncles tab and had the thing flat bedded before anyone even drove by. I don't even think i'm gonna pay for it because this kid owes me a decent amount of money but i just want to know what he's replacing because if it screws with the car that much i might end up selling it.

Did the same thing essentially, in my hatch. Ended up replacing the whole rack and pioion, rear hub, rear LCA's, front wheels, tires, etc.

at least this one was fun, the door mishap was just sheer stupidity this was a valid driver malfunction. hahhaha

I promise you you need more than a new wheel, if you bolt it up and it looks ok then take it in for a 4 wheel alighnment to see how bad you fucked up. :P

It could be very serious or it could be kinda serious. Either way you really fucked something up. Wheels aren't supposed to fall off. :P

You hit the rear, and your car is RWD, so that rear end might have seen better days. I'm guessing a BMW axle isn't cheap. :-X Take some pictures for us. We always need some new "PwN3d" pictures. :P

i did something dumb like that once with a toyota 86' celica a long time ago but the strut was the only thing that broke. i wasn't going as fast as you though, maybe 30mph pulling the ebrake and trying to drift in the rain before anybody even heard about drifting and the back passenger side tire hit a curb.

Not trying to give you ideas here...

But I knew a guy who needed his car to be stolen/wrecked. So, he told three of his buddies that he'd give them $200 each and to have them decided between the three of them who would steal the car/wreck it. He reported the car stolen, and when they asked him who he think stole it he said "I have no idea"... because.. really, he did not know who did it ;)

i think i'm gonna keep it until the summer because i'll be out a heafty amount of dough right now....still for sale for 10grand as is hahhahhaa
supposedly my friend found a 330i same color same everything and i don't think the owner needs his doors any more :P so we'll see if he needs the rear suspension either. I think i need it more though ;)
It really is a shame this isn't like me. Christmas eve and new years eve took a toll on this thing. I usually wash it every 2 days 3 days TOPS. I just like to drive hard.... :-\

don't worry, when you spend $10,000+ repairing accidental things caused by your own recklessness you won't drive as hard. i used to drop the clutch all the time in my other cars and fucked up 1 transmissions, and also blew a motor after running over a parking stop and it put a hole in my oil pan. 1 thing to say, become a faster learner at how not to break things.

that happened to me. the castle nut on lower ball joing on the front passenger control arm came off and the car pulled hard to the right. i hit a kid on his weedwacker motor scooter. he flew a pretty good distance too, he was on the street, and landed in the grass infront of dairyqueen, there is a sidewalk between the grass and the street.

i drove it from chicago to NY....
I never bent a rim ??? and i got hit by a papi in a parking lot. I find out tomorrow how much this is going to run me...i also find out how much theft insurance is as well ;). Who knows i might have a m3 soon :P. Or maybe a 330 and some extensive driving lessons.... Maybe an SUV so i can keep myself alive until next new years :-X we'll see as soon as i find out exactly what i broke-i'll keep you guys updated.
