decided to blow my head gaskets... got my studs and my MLS gaskets itchin to be installed.

put my boost controller on yesterday... turned her to the solid position...

boost gauge went past 10 so i let off, really pinned me in the seat thou.

turned her down a tad, havent got on it yet, hope its around 8.

it'd be nice if they held together at 8lbs

 

why do they keep blowing heat issuse's or is it just common on those motor's ??

 

Grab the video camera and find out Im calling 10psi.

 

pretty common on 5.0 HO motors. the stock headbolts are weak, and ive already retorqued mine 2x. and it has OEM replacement gaskets in it

also they dont have the best head bolt placement

you're putting down atleast 300hp at 10psi. i know the feeling

 

more than 300

put down about 300 at 7psi and about 400 torque

 

did you dyno the stang yet?

ya i tried once at torquefreaks and blew a hole in one of my couplers first pull... story of my life.

it made 252horse at 3500rpms 5.5psi 310tq at same rpm
