Dave Lawerence said he heard some major detonation while my car was on the dyno with the hood open. it could have been the guys messing with the tig welder not really sure car runs great. I think i may be switching to a new manifold/turbo/external gate tho. I am still getting a large amount of oil in my charge pipes but the turbo does not smoke at all

Donovan, what psi was it spiking to? I remember when we had Steves MBC on your car, and it would hit those quick 16-17psi spikes it would ping for just a split second until the boost came down to 15, and then start its boost fall off to 8k. I didnt mention it cause w/ your Profec, it didnt spike over 15 and it sounded fine.
Thats some nice TQ there when the boost was up. Just wait until it holds 15psi all the way through.
Edit: looking at that graph again it looks like the first run had alost 2-3psi of a higher spike than the 2nd run. yikes.
And if you other guys are wondering why the TQ is dumping like a single-slammer, it because Donovans gay internal gate dumps boost all the way down to 10 psi by 8k, lol

Dave the 1st run was in 4th gear. it spiked to 16psi droped down to 13-14ish. you know that bad pinging on the gauge back and forth. This is the run that they heard the pinging. The 2nd run was a 3rd gear pull low boost setting 11-12psi no pinging that time.

Dave has been a true champ about my car. Everytime i offered him the amount of money he charges he would not take it. Hell he looked my car over and preformed a compression test on the car and what did he charge me. I gave him a compression tester is all he wanted.
