wheel spin at launch is needed for tires to obtain MAX grip..........

Controlling it is the hard part!!!!!!

10% slip angle is about perfect, depending on the compund of the tire/slick......

Not that I cut 1.75" 60ft's all day or anything on my 195 wide all season street tires, so probably disregard my opinion on this subject.

Stock I could rev to 3000 and dump it then slam it and it would seem to be perfect. A lil spin, no bog, straight forward. I have boost now, but with the stock clutch so no dumps quite yet. If it's N/A at 3000 anyway why should I have to change anything? I should just watch as soon as it hits boost I'll be back to spinning, huh?

SkinnyE. I have the Ventus HRII right now. How did they hold for you at the track or racing at all?

in my teg, id try and pull a good launch.

i'd bog off the line, then boost would hit and id spin 1st and shift to 2nd, then start spinning 2nd... shitty times all the way

one tire fire, skinny tires.

You should stop trying to hate on the truth. You know why I say all day? Because I can open a drawer and pull out 100 timeslips all with the same result.

Now go back to riding sack and stfu.

i launch at 6500 rpm in my hatch.. on 22" drag slicks.. i just heat them up nice and good and let them do their job.. thats all i can ask

they held great for na, and they do good on the street, maybe it was the fact that it was over 90degrees the last time I went to the track and went to a track known for be slippery, its nickname is the slippery rock. I did'nt really slip the clutch since it was stock maybe next time I'll try slipping it since I got a 6 puck I'm putting in the end of this week. Anybody got any more tips to lower your 60ft times

Whatever, backpeddle all you want. But your barking up the wrong tree.

Typical 8th mile right now is a 8.3 @ 85mph
