Re:whats up?

Wasnt the Omni also made by Plymouth cause Plymouth owns Dodge or something. I have to tell you though that Omni is one ugly car when it is stock lol would be funny as ---- to smoke some joker with that car though. Was the GLH model hard to find or are they easy to come by?

I know the feeling ive been to the yard quite a few times and have been dissapointed. Anyways i think it would be cool to get a turbo omni Not only the fact that they are fast but they are also almost a classic lol

Re:whats up?

sorry, kinda off-topic..but have you guys ever heard of a lingenfelter corvette? i downloaded a video on kazaa lite and holy ---- it was fast. These guys in a GSX were video-tapping and thinkin they were bad-ass riding next to this normal looking corvette.
They are looking over smiling and what not when the vette drops a gear and takes off like nothing i have ever seen! It was such a hard pull. I guess it was a twin-turbo'd vette. D/L if you get the chance.

A ford escort gt might be an alright sleeper, one of the older boxy looking ones. still a ford though ;D

Only one thing though can they be relied on i mean this car would of course be my daily driver so.... could i trust it and oh yeah anoune got any links to find stuff that is Omni Based? if i knew more about the car i might feel more comfortable driving one.

Re:whats up?

Found it its the Plymouth Horizon isn't that the same damn car? or is the Horizon N/A? all i have to say is that the omni isnt exactly the easiest car for me to get here so something in the ballpark of it wether it be the horizon or the Omni or the Colt (plumouth or Dodge) or w/e i dont really car as long as i can fit in it lol im like 6'1" 240 lbs

Oh ---- i just remembered what about those old school like 1987 Toyota Corolla FX-16 i do believe those were hatchbacks right? lol toyota is reliable so i would feel comfortable with that lol oh yeah i would also be willing to go with a 2dr coupe that is similar to a Prelude the old school kind you knos something small but low to the ground at stock and semi airstream.

i have that video, i dunno wtf a lingenfelter vette is but its hella fast, pulls like the 10 second vette i saw up at the track a few months back at test and tune. then i saw it for sale for 60 grand, over 600hp with nitrous, it was similar to the one that 13 sec AWD races. sick ----

Re:whats up?

Plymouth Horizon and Dodge Omni are the same thing. You just need to get the turbo model. Anyway, the guy I live with has one, and I drive it all the time. The thing smokes my turbo civic, and it was way cheap to build. It's so damn fun to drive. It has a 2.5l block, a VNT turbo, LSD, a few other upgrades. Anyway, you pull up into a parking lot, get some people to stare, even snicker a little, then you sit there and burn the tires for 20 seconds or whatever until the people till the people wipe their ugly ass smirks off their faces.
At this point I'm not going to go and sell my civic to buy one, but I have put to shame many moderately built hondas and acura and mitsubishis, and mustangs and....well you get the point. I'll find some links of some fast chryslers and post them.

the vette in that vid had, lingenfelter headwork, and a doug rippie motorsports nitrous package...

the true lingenfelter corvettes, either the 550hp TT, or the 750hp 427TT are truely badass.

in the 8 second 1/4 range with street slicks.

and then theres the one they just upp'd the boost and put race gas in... was like 1200hp... 7.5 1/4 or somethin i dunno around there... in a stock lookin vette!
