my experiences have been that bolt on fox body's are not fast at all, i've hung next to a fox body that had i/h/e cam and 100 shot of giggle gas in my crx, and i doubt my crx runs 12's prolly 13's, even if he has some n20 if you know you got a 12 second car i say go for it, there are a lot of fast *** fox bodys out there, and theres also a lot that arent but 14-15 second cars, but those guys like to talk ---- and make it sound fast to scare people, i had a guy with a 97 cobra that said it was fully built with a 150 shot wanted to race me for some rediculous amount of money, so i went home and put on the drag radials, met him out on a county road along with a whole bunch of people who came to watch, then i pussed out of racing for money so he agreed to go for fun, needless to say he got me out of the hole and at about 35-40 mph i caught him and pulled on him untill about 100 mph, then i was pissed that i didnt bet the money, a week later i found out it was a stock motor with a "mild" cam and a 100 shot...but i see a lot of people with imports try to use intimidation befor a race as well, dont buy into it, just make a small bet so you dont lose your *** and go show him what you got.....

5.0 mustang w/ bolt ons is really nothin to impressive. A gsr swapped eg should take it. My old sohc build use to work them

if you count gears as a "bolt on" then 3.73s, or 4.10s + i/e/h will be in the low 13s if not high 12s with traction. add a set of heads and you're deep 12s if not high 11s with great traction. w/o traction it doesnt matter how much power you make obviously...

why is it such a big deal... just go race for fun.


btw adding 100 shot to an otherwise stock foxbody i would expect low 13s if not 13 flat.

well, i challenged him to a race for 100 dollars he bitched out and said " i have turbos and ----" and "its a import v8" what a bitch, i still would have smoked him although my compression is ------ hurt 135 125 120 110 100 80, minimum is 121

Redundent? yes, however that was his question.

Bolton = headers, intake, exhaust. No internal work. Heads/cam = internal work.

Z's are good for top end down low they seem sluggish.

my friend raced a 300zxTT with exhaust and intake and clutch

and we hung with him til about 65mph then he took off on us

we were in a eg with turbo LS at 12psi
