i really don't understand why noobs just sign up and ask dumbass questions. maybe if they looked around or even used good ole' google, they'd find their answers somewhat quickly. i mean dam, i don't think you even have to be logged in to use the search button do ya?
it is kinda true tho, that those who really want to learn will buy a flame suit and deal with it. too bad most aren't like me, where i just lurked for a few months learning and reading, then finally made an account cuz I wanted to comment on some of the topics. i don't think i've asked any RETARDED *** questions, have i?
plus, the **** is always a +

Re: whats with the ------- noobs
I'm currently "trying to help" some dude with a crapalier locally, he is in love with his Ecotec, and believes he's cool because there is a JDM Toyota Cavalier out there and he wants the JDM look in his chevy. Go Figure!!!Typical riceboy. He was claiming that his car ran 14.5@110mph on his car domain site, we flame the hell out of him, then he changed it to 15.5. The thing is this kids has never ever gone to a track.
I want to take his money, but he constantly wants to install japanese brand name parts on his car, most electronics don't offer car specific wiring for his car, and I'm not feeling like researching on that car to make things work. HE wanted to install a Safc, keep in mind his only "performance mods" is an intake. Now he wants to install an Apexi Rev/ Speed Meter GP. He just wants the cool gauges. He already has about 5, sunpro autozone gauges.
I can't stand this, I can't take this attitude. Noobs read, is not that you are new, is that you come in with the wrong mindset. Most want things handed to them, which it is already on the FAQ's, but they want more.
Just read, do your research, bust a nut, then read some more. That's why HMT is awesome.

Re: whats with the ------- noobs
Ok, being a noob here, I suppose I should chime in. I've only been registered for less than a month(And this is only my second post), but honestly, there is so much on here to read and learn about, I'm not sure how the other noobs could even come up with stupid posts. I have lurked everyday since I joined just reading all the posts and things after deciding to do an HMT setup on my Si. I have basically had every question answered that I have had by just reading. And reading some of the build stories will seriously save a person a lot of headaches.
I guess just a big thanks to the good folks on HMT for the help that they don't know they are even giving.
It seems like everytime someone has a question, it's already been answered by someone else with the same problem, just takes the search to find it but I agree with people are lazy. I have yet to find a question that hasn't been answered already pertaining to my setup.(Hence, only my second post.)
So from the the Noob, to the Noobs, STFU and READ!

Re: whats with the ------- noobs
I only replyed to that 1 yr old thread cause some one else did :1. Yeah i only got a whopping 30 plus post. The reason i like this forum alot better than ht is besides the point you can Type alot of cus words. People on ht flame people for no reason. Here you get flamed put to a point. At ht they take that ---- to the grave. Plus you guys reply back on post even if its a dumb or an easy answer. I had a post on ht that was kinda complicated and it never got a reply. Ive notice that when i reply the same post here and then on ht. I get more replies faster and quicker here compared to ht. I am no way bashing on ht it has its good days and bad. Yeah i know it seems like i am kissing some *** here but thats my opinion which realy doesnt matter.
I under stand this completely i mean ive gotten sloppy and become lazy and just post it to post it. I agree totally
