Maybe the "Make new thread" button should be gone for like 2-3 days and the only thing they can use is the "SEARCH" button.

The thing is that this site was made to learn, they **** me off too, with some of their simple questions, but those who really want to learn will stick around, even if we flame the hell out of them.

Seriously everything works out, with no change needed.

It's been what now, 3 years + and those who did not like the site are gone.

Thats right, and those who like it here (like me!) will get abused daily and suck it up cause here is where we learn ---- and gather all the info and parts we need to get our own junk together and running...then blow up...then running again...at that point we wont be noobs anymore and can abuse others...

im a noob and im going to be here for many years to come,i wake up to hmt thats what i do everyday i dont go to college so i learn here and i plan on learning here too, i love this web site its really all a guy wants cars,car parts and ****.

its not so much the noobness, but its the fact of how people are so dumb. 2 nights ago when i was at my buddys this kid tried to tell me a safc watches your fuel level and your engine temperature. and he tried to tell me that a apexi n1 muffler was $1700. thats where i lost it, i told him to grab a rope and he trys to tell me that i dont know how to boost a car.

then, on a local forum some kid is selling a GSR engine for $4200. like, ----.

lmao.. we've got some kids around here, but not THAT dumb.. $1700 lmao. I've had a few DA's though, like the kid who argued with me that del sol's came with v6's, one kid that wants to put a GT-R Mustang engine in his Taurus, etc etc.. lmao

I hear ya there man...plenty of kids around here like that. I think the main problem is people are getting lazier. ----, when i first signed up here i think i spent about 3 or 4 months just doing research and reading every post i could. I like the search button idea, but sometimes it does bring up some really rediculous results. I may not have a few thousand posts, but i also have a full time job, a mortgage and a wife to deal with too. And for all you noobs reading this...if you know it's a dumb question, and you've searched for it, then fine...make your post. Sure you may get flamed a little, but you'll probably find out what you need. But if you know it's a dumb question and you know nothing about it, and haven't even attempted to do some research first, then i say go hang yourself and save us the effort of typing.
