That has been around forever. itsnot going to happen as far as we know becouse Honda has something up there ass. This is the most accurate product release martix i know of. check it out.. the prelude might come back in 2006 tho..

that one pic is a horribly photoshopped insight IMO. BUt i've wanted to swap a big turbo B series into an insight since they came out. that would be a beautiful thing

Re:whats the info on "2005" crx, is it true?
if they brought it back it would probably be in the $35k range, and thats a little out of my reach. even though im a crx enthusiast, the performance/money ratio would be unacceptable for me. For less than that i could have a crx from 1988 that would out perform a new one in every aspect.

Re:whats the info on "2005" crx, is it true?
didnt read thru all the links but dunno if it was there, I read in a magazine that the new crx replacement would be a s1000, basically a dumbed down s2000 (fwd, 1.6, etc.)

Re:whats the info on "2005" crx, is it true?
that pic has been around for years, a photochop masterpiece...it was on my desktop backgroud for a while about a year ago...if it looked like the first one i will be down there fighting you fuckers off for the first one :-* but has Honda made any car that we want to run out and get lately? 02 Civic? nope. 03 Si? ehh not really. RSX? still heavy and slow.....i know WE all want something like that, but if they accually do built it, it will be slow, heavy, expensive...not in the spirt of the CRX....(my 2 cents)...

Re:whats the info on "2005" crx, is it true?
that crx looks like a mix with a focus and a rsx. why does honda make their cars so slow? I know know their capable of making thier cars fast with good economy. Look at the s2000 only a 2.0-2.2 liter with 240 hp. Or the prelude which is my favorite also a 2.0 with 195-200 hps? Why do they make their new cars so good damn slow. i hope they bring back the prelude i dont see why it did so bad in sales. honda really ------- up lately

Re:whats the info on "2005" crx, is it true?
What everybody needs to realize is that newer cars are slow becuase they are HEAVY. They have no choice to build cars with airbags, ABS, and all that other good ---- that prevents your death. A CRX is a death trap in saftey terms but is light as hell. But a K motor is a CRX would be fast as hell
BTW a prelude(h22) is a 2.2L 200hp. The 2.3L is only 160hp |
