Whats a good price on a turbo header these days ?

My business partner and I were out grabbing some chow today and we got to talking about the excessive and outrageous cost of decent hona b seires turbos headers.

Well we got to talking and if theres enough interest we might consider entering the market with a b series 4-1 stianless header in the neighborhood or say $500.

Contruction would be from 0.93 304L stianless with steel flanges. all welds would be made from optimal materials. and t flanges are steel not due to cost but becuase stianless has an incrediable high growth rate and would warp damn fast.

SO if this is a reasonable price and its something you guys are intrested in then ill talk to abaz about setting up advertising and well market it here for a running price of $500.

So please do feel free to post your opinions heres.

Sincerly
Sean

oviously you think Im selling a log manifold. This would be a 4-1 header. not a log. equal length tubes. I cant see anyone making these manifolds for less then $500 becuase the materials cost for 304L is realy high. ! These wold be comparble in both quality design etc to the manifolds at lovefab, cheapturbo etc

But as i siad. its an interest check. If i get time this week ill dig up some gif's etc of similar manifolds and they you can weight in onost vs value.

I'd like to see the ACTUAL product before I promise anything. I would also like to see a D series flange. I think most people on this site are running D series anyways. :-\

i think 99% of the hmt population would rather spend $50 on a HF manifold and another $50 on an adapter plate.

$250 and under is generally the going rate for a log mani made out of SS. Only people that can get more are people like lovefab b/c he has a reputation

For the last time. Its not a LOG. its an individual tube into a proper collector for a 4-1 arrangement. i have some pics of my header ill post later. Also if there was a significant interest in a D series header then yeah we could do that. yet again its not a log. Also id need a car here in the michigan Area for a fit up vehicle.

Any Takers ?

The market is so flooded with manifolds that its pretty hard to advertise an equal length manifold and expect people to pay $500 for it even if it is stainless and all. Most people on HMT are people on budgets so if it was a choice between a new turbo for $580 or a $500 manifold, I think you know what they would pick. If it was in the range of $350, that would be more reasonable.

i would do 300 for a non stainless equal length d series header. if stainless is so expensive then dont use it use regular steel. this is budget oriented situation on hmt
