What's the engine code for a Civic EX?

What's the engine code for a 98 Civic EX? And what should I watch for when I'm turbocharging this car? Does the V-tec effect anything with boost at all? I normally build turbos for Sunfire and Cavaliers, but never a Civic, so I want to make sure of some things when I'm doing this so everything is right at the first time.

the vtec on your motor is on the intake side, and a higher lift on the intake side would probably mean you're gonna take in more air and fuel, so I suppose on a turbo setup, that'd be a good thing.

you mean Vtec and no theres nothing to worry about when boosting your y8. Its just provide better air flow and alittle gain in power when it kicks in. you;ll be fine. just read the faq and do research theres lots of info on this site.
