Whats with all the Noobies?
 

Why has there been a sudden explosion in the number of new members all of a sudden? Did some part of the internet collapse? I just find it weird that all of a sudden there is 60 new members in one day.

some pictures jeff posted on the internet got some people all excited and such and since you have to log in to see the board lots of people joined up.

I disabled guests to view the forum, so people have to sign up. It's just temporary, we were getting 90-120 users online at once with people just browsing. Just trying to figure out some ways to speed up the forum for you guys so its not lagging.

No ----? That's a pretty good idea. I see sooooo many "guests" browsing all the time. I don't know why they just browse and not post or at least sign up? ??? I was wondering why we had so many new users all of the sudden.

Sweet! No lag! Noobs are ok, just as long as they read the FAQ's first...besides, we were all "new" at some point.

I was thinking the same thing. 58 new users already today. :o It won't be long until we are the size of HT.
