Unfortunitly the days of HMT hazing and rules for Noob intro posts are no longer anything of interest to anyone. Thast why 50% of threads in GD are filled with posters under the 100 post limit and almost none have intro'd correctly let alone post porn.

He stopped making them cause his profit margin was getting slammed by cheap cdm availability. His sales dropped and it just wasn't worth his time anymore. That's what he told me at least.

Those were just a small part of a larger sheet metal/fab shop.

A year ago when I was looking at his kits and prices I couldn't believe the deals he was offering since his cores didn't look like total trash in comparison to other products in that range. Doesn't surprise me his profit margin was tanking. His work seemed solid though. Oh well, thanks for the update.

It is really sad when someone like JRC quits making a superior product. We tried to carry their intercoolers, but they were already selling them so cheap, that there was no additional profit margin for us to work with. We did a side by side on the JRC, CustomCoach, and Yonaka intercoolers, and the JRC was by far superior. Everything about the JRC far outshone any of the others. Welds, Core, Packaging, Hardware, all were far superior.

Bummer... RIP JRC

Anyone know the name of the sheet metal shop? I'd love to try and get him to make some more, even at higher prices, we'd still carry them.
