what you guys know about this
i was talking earlier with my friend ( he has a turbo altima @ 8 PSI) he told me a guy at a local performance shop told him that the engine on his car, 95 altima, was meant to be turbocharged, and that i would hold 15 psi easily. i dont know much about nissans but i found that statement hard to believe.
does anyone know anything about this being true??? half true??? any true??? |
Re: what you guys know about this
From what my neighbors cousins momma's brothers attorney said, he heard that the altima was a family car, but I don't know, cause that's what he read on the internet at 3am when he was on tylenol PM.

1995 nissan altima = ka24de right? from what ive seen those arent too bad of engines to turbocharge...
however, MEANT to be turbocharged? hmm.. do the ka24de's have forged internals? i cant remember.. i know the sr20det does but of course that comes turbocharged.. |

Re: what you guys know about this
i have torn one apart af pretty low milage and im far frmo a turbo expert but the internats seems to be about equal to a d16. maybe slightly heavier but not much. i wouldnt run 15psi on it. i bet that car is a sleeper at 8psi though

Re: what you guys know about this
I would run 15psi through it just to see if it would do it. then, the next guy to ask this question could find out.
BTW...what kind of fuel management is he running? FMU....for sure. :y |
