My faith in humanity has been redeemed. Whoever it was didn't take the money.

Good to hear, that was a nice little twist at the end there, "6th sense" style.

I had a situation like this happen to me just last week. Guy was getting some cash from a drive up ATM.
He drives off and I drive up to get cash.

On the screen it says "do you need more time."
I realize that the guy left his card in the machine and that the pin is still active.
I have the chance to take him for all his account, or tell him.
I immediately honk the horn and flash the lights as the guy is almost pulling out onto the road.
He backs up all confused and kind of mad. I then hand him his card.
The look on his face was priceless as he realized his folly.

I do believe that what you do will come back to you.

Congrats on not getting screwed.

Too all of you who would take the money, whether you know or realize it you are completely destroying your own self-esteem and self worth if you take that money. You'd probably do more harm than good by taking that money to your own self than the person who left it there.

We are all faced with moral dilemas in life, throughout life, and who we are and who we develop into as childen, adolescents, young adults to old people are all consequences of the choices we make and the actions we take.

Remember that the next time a situation presents itself to you such as this...

that good to hear buddy.

That's why i NEVER use the atm or what nots to do deposits. I ALWAYS go into the branch to make deposits, whether it was the business account or my personal account. I just don't trust that ----.

I'm gonna say it was over 3k but less than 5 :P
